• Adhering to national standards for education
• Expanding online offerings
• Changing the year-round schedule for high school students

We should establish private/public partnerships to open more charter schools
in areas with higher dropout rates.

We also need to revisit No Child Left Behind to determine if it is helpful
or detrimental to our educational goals.   Local teachers from the
communities are mandatory and will help with communication between teachers
and parents.

I am in favor of a “hybrid” School Board –  transition to a 1/2 appointed
board, and 1/2 elected.
